With voices their only instruments, this award-winning group has expanded the boundaries of vocal music. The choral world considers them are an outstanding vocal ensemble. In Sweden they represent the highest of musical and artistic quality, regardless of genre, and have collaborated with many of Sweden's finest artists, orchestras and musicians. They are frequently seen on national T.V. Their extraordinary musical talents and flexibility have resulted in musical encounters with international names including Barbara Hendricks, Bobby McFerrin, Sir George Martin and Jon Hendricks. The members of THE REAL GROUP are a true product of the top-quality Swedish music education system. Anders Edenroth (counter-tenor), Peder Karlsson (tenor) and Anders Jalkeus (bass) found their musical link while studying at the Royal Academy of Music in Stokholm - one of their most influential professors being world famous conductor Eric Ericson. Thus THE REAL GROUP was formed in 1984. Soon after, Margareta Bengtson-Jalkeus with her high soprano and alto Katarina Wilceczewski-Nordstrom rounded off the quintet.
